2024 Sports Highlights!

The year 2024 began on a high note for Konstantinos Mavratzotis, as he became the inaugural recipient of the KMK Junior Scholarship, established in honor of “Kacke” to support promising young karting talents.

Go-Karting Achievements

Konstantinos had a phenomenal season in the MKR and Raket Trophy series, with notable accomplishments throughout the year:

• Season Highlight: Finished 5th overall in the Raket Trophy Championship, an extraordinary achievement in a highly competitive field.
• Top Race Results:
  
  • Best race finish: 7th place at Raket Trophy 7.
  • Additional top-10 placements: P8 at MKR-8 and P10 at Raket Trophy 2.
• Maintained consistency with strong mid-field performances, such as P15 at Höstrusket and P16 at Raket Trophy 1.

Kayaking Triumphs

Konstantinos also excelled in kayaking, with standout performances in the Kanokayiak Swedish Championship and Swedish Youth Cup:

Kanokayiak Swedish Championship Highlights:

• K1 Events: Secured 14th place in the challenging 2500m solo race in the boys’ 13–14 age group.
• K2 Events: Teamed up with Milad to achieve:
  
  • 9th place in the 200m final.
  • 8th place in the 500m final.
  • 10th place in the 2500m final.
• K4 Events: Dominated with Wiliam, Viktor, and Milad, winning gold medals in the 200m, 500m, and 2500m races.

Swedish Youth Cup Success:

• Earned a gold medal and a silver medal in the P13 K1 class in Lidköping.
• Secured a bronze medal in the H14 K2 short-track event with Viktor Tinín.

Bandy Excellence

On the ice, Konstantinos’s talent shone as a goalkeeper in bandy:

• Highlight: Played a key role in securing 3rd place at the Aros Cup 2024, showcasing his quick reflexes and strong defensive skills.
